Logo Project: Funk Rock Band
Funkrock band logo with a balance of opposites: feminine and masculine energy, raw and polished, contemporary and retro, stable and wild.
The client, a funk/rock band I sing backup vocals in, needed a logo that reflected feminine and masculine energy. It needed the contrast of the raw and the refined, the edgy and the polished all at the same time. My response is a hand-lettered calligraphic mark, full of eroded flourishing ligatures.
